Tobias Enstrom's first goal of the season on Wednesday night finally got Winnipeg on the board on the power play.
His first-period marker snapped a streak of 0-for-17 to start the 2011-12 season. It was also the first time that a Jets defenseman had found the back of the net. Enstrom and Dustin Byfuglien combined to record 30 goals and 104 points last campaign, but they have begun this year slowly. Enstrom has one goal and one assist in five games, while Byfuglien ended his scoring drought with a pair of helpers on Wednesday night. The two of them will need to start producing if the Jets want to get out of their current 1-3-1 funk because they are key players in the team's offensive scheme.
