T.J. Oshie has signed a five-year contract extension with the St. Louis Blues. Oshie will earn an average of $4.175 annually over the course of the deal. By agreeing to this deal, the two sides have made their scheduled Friday arbitration hearing moot. This is a reasonable deal for Oshie in this market, especially when you factor in that St. Louis was below the salary floor before this signing.
