Tim Thomas will play between the pipes on Saturday. Thomas hasn't played since December 19th, but before you read too much into that, keep in mind that thanks to an oddity in the schedule, the Bruins have only participated in two games since that date. Tuukka Rask earned a 30-save shutout on December 23rd, so he played again in their next game on December 28th. It's as innocent as that. We don't think the long period off will significantly affect Thomas.
