Tim Thomas (undisclosed) isn't likely to play Friday after getting hurt in Thursday's practice. He exited the session after making a post-to-post save during a shooting drill. The Panthers brought up Jacob Markstrom from the minors, but Scott Clemmensen will probably get the nod if Thomas isn't able to play.
