Tim Thomas thinks the controversy surrounding him skipping the Boston Bruins' White House visit will blow over. "I think it should. I think it should," Thomas said. "I think it's all media-driven right now. It has been from the start. Everything I said then was as an individual. It wasn't as a representative of the Boston Bruins. All it has to do is with me. It's separate from hockey. That's my personal life. Those are my personal views. Those are my personal beliefs. It has nothing to do with hockey." We can believe Thomas when he says that his actions had nothing to do with the Boston Bruins and were are about him. However, that's also the problem. He decided to take this opportunity to make a political statement instead of go to the White House and celebrate with his teammates. Still, as we said earlier, he's one of the biggest reaosns his teammates got invited to go to the White House in the first place.
