Tim Thomas thinks he got better as Saturday's game went on in his return from a hip injury. Thomas turned aside 29 of 32 shots in a 3-2 loss to Ottawa. "I felt a little out of sorts at the beginning and kind of wasn't awake for that first goal," Thomas said. "I wasn't expecting a shot to come from that angle, and I had to get back into game-type of thinking rather than practice." It was Thomas' first start in roughly two and a half weeks.
