Tim Thomas played a tremendous game against his former team, but ultimately took the loss in the Panthers' 4-1 defeat to the Bruins on Tuesday night. Thomas stopped 35 of 38 shots for the second game in a row, but unlike Sunday's victory in New York, the Panthers were outplayed and defeated by a superior Bruins team. Thomas falls to 16-20-3 this season, and will now have to compete with newcomer Roberto Luongo for starts down the stretch.
