Tim Thomas' leg injury isn't expected to keep him out very long. "We're confident that he's not going to be [out] long-term. He's a quick healer," Florida coach Kevin Dineen said. "Unfortunate, but the short-term situation is we'll give [Clem] a call, and goaltending depth is becoming a factor in our season already." Scott Clemmensen was brought up Wednesday to help out Jacob Markstrom in the Panthers' crease. Thomas will miss at least two games with his leg ailment and he's eligible to come off injured reserve prior to Florida's match-up against St. Louis on Nov. 1.
