Tim Thomas (groin) has been activated off of the injured reserve list. Nothing has been confirmed, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Thomas start in the Panthers' first game back from the Christmas break on Saturday. Scott Clemmensen has been solid during Thomas' absence, but he allowed six goals on 36 shots against Tampa Bay on Monday.
