Tim Thomas (groin) didn't experience any pain when he practiced on Sunday. "I felt pretty good. It's the first day I didn't feel any pain," Thomas said. "So it's a big step forward." He won't play Monday though and Scott Clemmensen, who has done a solid job in Thomas' absence, will get the nod for the Panthers.
