Tim Thomas allowed only one goal on 46 shots in the Bruins' 3-1 victory over the Penguins Monday night. The Boston Bruins haven't lost a game in regulation time since October 29th and improve to 14-0-1 in their last 15 games. With the win tonight, Thomas now has a 13-4-2 record on the season and the Bruins are now within a point of the Penguins atop the Eastern Conference. Thomas is the early favorite for the Vezina Trophy. Tuukka Rask will probably get the nod for Boston in the second game of the team's back-to-back set in Winnipeg on Tuesday.
