Tim Gleason is back with the Carolina Hurricanes after inking a one-year deal with the team on Thursday. He will earn $1.2 million, along with the $833,333 he will receive from his buyout from Toronto. Gleason posted six points, 156 hits, 65 penalty minutes and a minus-21 rating in 56 games with the Canes and Leafs last season.
