During Tierney's brief time in the minors, he recorded a goal and two assists in two games. The former second-round pick now has 32 points in 31 AHL games, but has yet to find anything near that type of success at the NHL level. At the moment, it's unclear what role Tierney will fill in the Sharks' lineup.
