Thornton (shoulder) skated Tuesday morning, David Pollak of the San Jose Mercury News reports. Thornton had been off the ice since last Friday while tending to the shoulder injury, but because Tuesday's session wasn't a full practice, it's difficult to discern whether or not he'll be ready to go for Thursday's game against the Flyers. The Sharks should have a better idea of his condition by Wednesday or Thursday morning.
