Thornton scored a goal in the second period of Tuesday's loss to the Bruins. Thornton doesn't often look for his own shot these days, but he was able to find the net Tuesday for the second time in three games. The lack of diversity in his scoring may prevent him from yielding the fantasy value of some of the league's top pivots, but Thornton should be able to make another run at an 80-point campaign.
