Thornton notched an assist Thursday against Edmonton in a 2-1 shootout win to extend his points streak to four games.
EDGE Analysis
Thornton now has six points in his past four games and 33 points in 42 games on the season. The 36-year-old still manages to rack up the points despite averaging around just two shots per game in his career. His playmaking ability is still considered elite, and while the days of him challenging for the scoring title are clearly over, he's still one of the better centers in the league.
