Thompson played with a shoulder injury throughout the Ducks' playoff run, and will now undergo an MRI as a result. The same shoulder injury prevented Thompson from suiting up for any of the four games of the Ducks' first round sweep of the Jets. Thompson was, however, able to play with the ailment throughout the rest of the Ducks' playoff run, starting with Game 1 of Anaheim's second round series against Calgary. The Ducks' should provide an update on his status once they receive the results of Thompson's MRI.
