This may be Daniel Alfredsson's final season in the NHL. A report on TSN.ca suggested that, with only $1-million owed on the final year of a front-loaded contract, Alfredsson could retire after the 2011-12 season. "Who knows, it could be my last. It all depends on how the season goes and how I feel after," Alfredsson was quoted as saying Wednesday. "I feel good now, so I'm going to go out there and enjoy it. Who knows, it could be the last one but hopefully not. That's the way I look at it now." At 36, Alfredsson is the sixth-oldest player in the NHL.
