There's some speculation that Matt Read (upper body) will be available to play Thursday night. The Flyers did not have a morning skate since they played the night before, but some injured players and healthy scratches did hit the ice, including Tye McGinn. McGinn has been a healthy scratch of late due to Harry Zolnierczyk and his presence on the ice could mean that Read will play after leaving Wednesday night's game early due to an upper-body injury. GM Paul Holmgren hasn't provided an update on Read's status, so nothing is certain yet.
