The Vancouver Canucks have dealt Jason Garrison, Jeff Costello, and a seventh round pick to the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for the 2014 50th overall selection. In Garrison, the Tampa Bay Lightning are adding a top-four blueliner that can chip in with the man advantage. He's a good bet to record 30-40 points if he can stay healthy. It's a bit surprising that the Canucks didn't get more for him though given that his $4.6 million annual cap hit looks pretty fair under the current market standards. Either way, this is a good pickup for Tampa Bay.
