The upper body injury that Mike Richards sustained on Thursday could be a concussion. GM Dean Lombardi was asked about the NHL's quiet room policy and he then revealed: "On the basis of those tests last night, he [Richards] couldn't return. Then he had tests again in the morning." Since the Kings placed him on the injured reserve list later in the day, it seems safe to assume that Richards does indeed have a concussion, or at the very least, concussion-like symptoms. He could be out for a while so stay tuned.
