The Toronto Maple Leafs want Clarke MacArthur back, but Leafs GM Brian Burke doesn't want to sign him to a long-term contract. Burke doesn't want to hand a long-term contract to a player that's only had one productive season. MacArthur broke out in 2010-11 with 21 goals and 62 points in 82 games, but he never had more than 35 points in any of his previous campaigns. MacArthur is eligible to file for arbitration and that's probably what he'll end up doing.
