The strange thing about the Philadelphia Flyers' woes is that Steve Mason has been the brightest spot in a bleak overall picture. He stopped 29 out of 31 shots against the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday, but his team still lost 2-1. He has fantastic individual numbers so far (.935 save percentage and 2.03 GAA), yet just a 1-3-0 record. That's what happens when you play for a team that can only score six goals in five games, it seems.
