The Senators have signed Hogberg to a two-year entry-level contract, the team's official site reports.

Hogberg's deal with the Sens kicks in at the beginning of the 2017-18 season and in the meantime, he'll join AHL Binghamton for the remainder of the current campaign. The 22-year-old, who was the 78th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, is coming off a season in which he recorded a 19-14 record in 33 games for Linkoping of the Swedish Hockey League, with a 1.89 GAA and .931 save percentage to go along with four shutouts.
