The Senators announced Thursday that Anderson will take a leave of absence for a "personal matter at home," and he currently has no timetable for his return, Sportsnet reports.

Chris Driedger, a 22-year-old goalie, was called up from AHL Binghamton in a corresponding move. A true workhorse, the veteran Anderson has already drawn into five starts this season, winning four of them, including his claiming victories past regulation in the first two. By default, he's day-to-day until we learn more about the situation.
