The Sabres recalled Varone on Thursday, the team's official site reports. Along with Varone, fellow forward Zac Dalpe was recalled from AHL Rochester, moves made with injuries to Zemgus Girgensons and Tyler Ennis in mind. Varone, who has recorded two goals in seven NHL games this season, currently leads Rochester in scoring with 43 points in 52 games.
