The rest enjoyed by the Stanley Cup participants from Wednesday's 4-3 triple-overtime triumph by Chicago over the Boston Bruins to Game 2 tonight may not thrill hockey enthusiasts but Blackhawks' veteran Brent Seabrook thinks it's big.
"Having the two-day break is huge," said Seabrook, who played 39:12 on Wednesday - third-most on the Blackhawks. "Just getting lots of rest, staying hydrated and try to get as much fluid and healthy, good food in your system as you can. Just getting ready and focus for the next one." Teammate Marian Hossa agrees, but he was annoyed with a neighbor for waking him early Thursday morning after the marathon opener. "I woke up early," Hossa said. "My neighbor decided he was going to drill in the morning. That was not very pleasant. Hopefully he is going to get the message for next time and he won't drill."
