The relationship between center Mike Ribeiro and coach Dave Tippett is one the newest Coyote is happy to renew. The two parties are familiar with each other dating back to their time together in Dallas and Tippett reportedly had been trying to recruit Ribeiro since he arrived in Phoenix. "He's got unbelievable poise with the puck," Tippett said. "He can find people, make great plays in traffic and he just has the ability to hold it and make the right play." The addition should help the Coyotes improve on their anemic power play, but expecting a repeat of last season's performance from Ribeiro would be a stretch.
