The Panthers appear poised to offer O'Brien a contract, reports Steve Borten of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Panthers' general manager Dale Tallon talked to O'Brien's agent on Saturday afternoon, but nothing was inked at that time. Discussions will apparently continue Sunday.
