The 24-year-old logged 21:45 of ice time per game this past season -- tops on the team -- accumulating two goals and 23 assists in the 73 games. The young rearguard also had 126 hits and 126 blocked shots. A contract for $1.75 million per year seems like money well spent for Edmonton.
