The New York Rangers will keep Jesper Fast on their roster as they head into the regular season. Fast beat out Oscar Lindberg and Chris Kreider and will start the season as a bottom six forward. Fast had 18 goals and 35 points in 47 games in the highly regarded Swedish Elite League. The 22-year-old may not have much fantasy value this season as a bottom-six forward but could become a bigger scorer in a few seasons. Leave him on the waiver wire for now and watch him.
