The New York Islanders aren't currently negotiating a contract extension with Andrew MacDonald. MacDonald is reportedly seeking a deal in the range of $5 million per season and it looks like the Islanders aren't interested in retaining him at that price. He has three goals and 23 points in 52 games in 2013-14.
