The Minnesota Wild sent Mathew Dumba down to the minors in exchange for fellow blueliner Marco Scandella. Dumba was a healthy scratch in Minnesota's first four contests, ostensibly there to get "experience" even if that didn't come during actual games. Scandella tallied 12 points in 24 AHL games with the Houston Aeros.
