The Los Angeles Kings have confirmed that they have signed prospect Valentin Zykov to an entry-level deal. Zykov will compete for a roster spot with the Los Angeles Kings during the 2014 preseason, but he's a long shot to actually make the team. The more likely scenario is that Zykov will spend another year in the QMJHL. He was great at that level in 2013-14, scoring 23 goals and 63 points in 53 games.
