The Kings' Darryl Sutter credits the coach he replaced, Terry Murray, for winning the first-round series against the Canucks, just as much as anyone else in the organization.
Murray had 139 wins in his just-less-than three and a half seasons, before being fired in December as the team slogged to just a 13-12-4 record. "Terry Murray is just as important to winning this series as anybody." "Because he was a good coach. That's always what happens," Sutter said. 'The coach takes responsibility when players don't perform. He put a lot in place the last two or three years."
