The injury sustained to Jose Theodore is likely a strained right MCL that will require two weeks of rest but no surgery. Knees are tricky for goalies, but at least as far as knee injuries go, Theodore's seems on the mild side. Scott Clemmensen will likely carry the load while Theo recovers.
