ALL GOALIES ARE CONFIRMED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED AT THE TIME OF PRINT
Jonathan Bernier goes for the second straight start for the Toronto Maple Leafs since returning from his injury but is facing a Philadelphia Flyers team who is looking to rebound from their loss to the Rangers on Tuesday night. The Leafs have loss 6 in a row, so this is not going to be easy. Steve Mason wasn't particularly sharp as he had been in games prior so look for Mason to return to form.......
Another team struggling at the moment are the Pittsburgh Penguins who have lost 4 of last 5. Marc-Andre Fleury should be able to get the Pens back on track over the Columbus Blue Jackets who are starting Curtis McElhinney. Bobrovsky is under the weather therefore the McElhinney start..........
Craig Anderson gets the call for the Ottawa Senators tonight as Lehner suffered a minor injury the other day in practice. Anderson was due for start since he was sidelined for the past seven games with an injury. Not an easy game to come back to as the faces Corey Crawford (LIKELY) and the Chicago Blackhawks who are playing to hold onto the home ice advantage for at least the first round of the playoffs. Ottawa is in bit of a freefall losing 9 of last 11. Hawks prevail.....
Kari Lehtonen (LIKELY) will host the Nashville Predators tonight in Big D. The Stars are looking to gain some ground on the 8th place Phoenix Coyotes but time is running out with the Stars 5 points behind but they have 2 games in hand. Expect Pekka Rinne (LIKELY) to get the nod after the Preds played last night with Hutton in net. Dallas has a lot on the line this game, so go with Lehts........
The New York Rangers start a 4-game road trip with 3 stops in Western Canada and the last in Colorado. First up are the pesky Calgary Flames. Even though the Flames are mired near the bottom of the Western Conference, they have proven to be tough to play against, so it will not be an easy night for Henrik Lundqvist. Karri Ramo gets the call for the Flames and he has been hot of late, winning 2 of last 3 since returning to the lineup. Perhaps the Rangers will not be as ready especially after beating rival Philly the other night. Letdown for the Rangers.....
Anaheim would love to inch back towards the top of the NHL standings with a win over Ben Scrivens (LIKELY) and the Edmonton Oilers. With the Ducks just 2 behind San Jose and 6 behind NHL leading St. Louis, this game is critical. Anaheim will have Jonas Hiller in net as they try to push their winning streak to 3. Should be easy as pie,
FANTASY MUST-STARTS
Jonas Hiller, Anaheim @ Edmonton
Steve Mason, Philadelphia vs. Toronto
Kari Lehtonen, Dallas vs. Nashville
Corey Crawford, Chicago @ Ottawa
