THE GOALIE EDGE: 10/5/13 primepucks.com Sat 10/5/13 2:30 PM

THE GOALIE EDGE 10/5/13 It should be a real barnburner in Boston tonight between the Red Wings and the Bruins. Tuuka Rask is not yet confirmed, but he was stellar in his first start against Tampa Bay on Thursday allowing only one goal while having 32 saves.  Howard is playing good as well, so sort of a pickem match.  Anderson will face Reimer in Toronto tonight.  Reimer is in a big fight with Bernier to win the starters spot for the Maple Leafs, so this should also be a nail biter.  Ray Emery gets his first start for the Flyers tonight in Montreal.  Have to go with Carey Price on this one.  Bobrovsky will start again tonight for Columbus against the Islanders.  He was mediocre in their home opener.  Let's see if he can get back to his Vezina winning form tonight.  Sort of like Nabokov in this match.  The Sabres will start Enroth against the Penguins.  Fleury looks like a good lock against the offensively challenged Buffalo team.  As we expected Jonas Hiller will start against the Wild, while Niklas Backstrom will be in goal for Minnesota.  Another pickem game.  Braden Holtby will start again tonight despite being pulled, and allowing 3 goals on only 11 shots yesterday.  Expect him to have a good game against the Stars.  Tim Thomas had a good start coming back to the NHL with a win against the Stars, but the Blues will be tougher than Dallas. But he may suprise again tonight.   Corey Crawford should be the pick of the night for Chicago against Tampa Bay.  Luongo will likely beat Dubnyk, although we sort of like Dubnyk's chances, and we expect Niemi to win against the Coyotes.       FANTASY MUST STARTS: Corey Crawford, Chicago Blackhawks vs. Tampa Bay Marc-Andre Fleury, Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Buffalo Sabres Braden Holtby, Washington vs. Dallas SLEEPER ALERT: Tim Thomas, Florida vs. St. Louis Devan Dubnyk, Edmonton Oilers vs. Vancouver DAILY GOALIE PICKS & RECORDS Steve: Corey Crawford (1-3) Ray: Antti Niemi (2-2) Mike: Marc-Andre Fleury  (2-2)
