The Detroit Red Wings have recalled Tomas Tatar from Piestany of the Slovak Extraliga. Tatar will play for Grand Rapids of the AHL. He had five goals and 10 points in eight games this season with Peistany after a 24 goal, 58 point season in 76 AHL games last season with Grand Rapids.
