The Detroit Red Wings have been very happy with the play of Tomas Tatar. The highly regarded prospect is playing in his fourth season in the AHL but is still only 22 years of age. He is tied for the Grand Rapids lead in goals with 11 and has 23 points, second on the squad. "The one thing that's been real noticeable is his consistency," Jim Nill, the Red Wings assistant GM said. "From the first game, he's been consistent and there haven't been the ups and downs." Look for Tatar to challenge for a spot on the Red Wings when the NHL finally returns to action.
