The Dallas Stars aren't worried about the fact that Jaromir Jagr will turn 41 before the 2012-13 campaign is over.
"I don't think there's any question he still has game in the tank," Stars GM Joe Nieuwendyk said. "He had a terrific season with Philadelphia." Jagr did end up with 19 goals and 54 points in 73 games with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011-12. He shouldn't be counted on to do any better next season and he should be regarded as a high-risk pick in fantasy drafts. All the same, from Dallas' perspective, they have only committed to one-year and they have more than enough cap space to absorb his $4.55 million hit, so they can't really be blamed for rolling the dice on Jagr.
