The Colorado Avalanche have signed defenseman Zach Redmond to a two-year/$1.5 million deal. Redmond did a great job of bouncing back this season after suffering a severe cut to his leg by a skate during a practice with the Jets. He is a bubble player on the Avs as he fights to be the seventh defenseman.
