The Colorado Avalanche beat Calgary just a day after they suffered an 8-2 defeat to the Edmonton Oilers.
Obviously an Avalanche fan wouldn't have wanted to see their team get blown out in the first place, but it's an encouraging sign to see them shake that off. "Good teams have short memories on both sides of the win-loss column," Avs center Matt Duchene said. "We were upset with our effort at Edmonton, but you move on right away. Same thing now. We'll enjoy this one on the plane tonight but get back to work in Vancouver (on Saturday)." Colorado continues to far exceed expectations with a 20-7-0 record.
