The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Phillip Danault to a three-year, entry-level deal. Danault was taken with the 26th overall pick in the 2011 NHL entry draft. He has 34 points and 45 penalty minutes in 33 QMJHL games this season. Washington gave Chicago the first round pick in exchange for Troy Brouwer.
