The Bruins sent DeBrusk to WHL Swift Current on Sunday, CSN New England reports.

DeBrusk, who turns 19 later this month, notched 42 goals and added 39 assists in 72 games with Swift Current last season. At this stage, he needs additional seasoning at the junior level, but down the road the Bruins hope that DeBrusk will develop into a legitimate goal-scoring threat at the NHL level.
