The Bruins have sent Miller to AHL Providence, NESN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller, who was a healthy scratch for the Bruins' last two games, had been with the big club all season, notching 12 points in 28 games. We'd expect Miller to be back at the NHL level before long, but a stint at the AHL level, for any length of time, will get the speedy, hard-shooting blueliner -- who carried a minus-1 rating in each of his last two contests -- some needed ice time, as well a chance pick up his all-around game in advance of a recall.
