The Bruins have assigned Miller to AHL Providence.
EDGE Analysis
Miller, who logged 42 games with the big club in 2015-16, recording three goals and 16 points in the process, will finish up the season with Providence, where he can gain some added pro experience through ample ice time that should serve him well in advance of his attempt to secure a full-time role with the big club in 2016-17. When the 23-year-old blueliner's confidence doesn't waver and he is able to avoid costly turnovers, he's an upside play whose shot and skating ability are assets to the Bruins' attack.
