The blood clots that Tomas Vokoun had removed on Saturday is not the first time in his career that he has had problems with his pelvis. Vokoun had problems in the 2005-06 season while with the Nashville Predators as he was diagnosed with pelvic thrombophlebitis (having multiple blood clots in his pelvis) and missed the remainder of the season after being diagnosed on April 10, 2006. He recovered over the off-season as he was on blood thinners and returned to start the 2006-07 season although he would have missed four-five months had it happened at the beginning of the season. It could be the same diagnosis for Vokoun so we suggest not drafting him this season as a handcuff for Marc-Andre Fleury.
