The Anaheim Ducks have recalled goaltender John Gibson from Norfolk of the AHL. The recall was necessitated by the injury on Friday night to Fredrik Andersen. Andersen is expected to miss at least a couple of games and Gibson could be in line for at least one start as regular netminder Jonas Hiller has been struggling of late. Gibson is the top goaltending prospect in hockey and could be given a shot to start as early as next season in the Ducks net.
