Teddy Purcell has scored in two straight games following a 13-game goal drought. He has had his share of lengthy goal slumps over the past two seasons despite being a dangerous offensive threat for the Lightning. Purcell scored a career-high 24 goals last season but he also had a 16-game stretch without a goal that year. "You just have to battle through it," Purcell said of the droughts. "You can't get down and feel sorry for yourself. It's a tough league, and it's a long season. Those things are going to happen. I just hope it doesn't happen anymore." In 29 matches this campaign, he has registered six markers and 18 assists for 24 points.
